Ad mocks up and campaigns
Guerrilla advertising for the Kansas City Zoo. The idea would be to
take life-sized decals or window clings of animals and stick them along
various aisles in grocery stores or on different department counters
(ie. penguins in the fish department, baby animals on the milk doors,
and a lion scoping out the deli counter).
I was thinking that the various decals would have
"Feeding Time At The Zoo" on them with the feeding times displayed for
the animal in question or with a QR code that would take people to a
website that had various animal feeding times listed and include a
category on which animals that zoo goers were able to feed themselves. We were given a job description and were told to make either a campaign or a spread for Marmot (outside adventuring clothing/gear). In the job description they mentioned how Marmot's goal is for people to love their gear and keep it for a long time. They want people to have a bond with their equipment and to help that motivation Marmot mends and repairs any damaged equipment for as long as the owner lives, this way people won't throw out their gear. They want people to love their Marmot gear so much that they are not swayed by the "Lust of the new and shiny." I went with the theme of marriage and anniversaries, since that is another important bond that stresses mending and repairing damage before giving up and growing it away.
